Welcome to A-B Rabbitry on the web!  We are Jesse and Kim Bloomer and located in NW Indiana.  Rabbits started for Kim as a 4H project.  They started for Jesse when he met Kim.  At the time we had Dutch, Mini Rex, Netherland Dwarfs, and Holland Lops.  Holland Lops became our favorite breed and we decided to raise them exclusively in 2003.  One of the most attractive things to us about the breed is the color variety.  We currently have the following colors in our herd:  Tort-black, tort-blue, black, chocolate, blue, lilac, black-otter, blue-otter, orange, cream, chestnut, and opal.  We had some success in 2007 on the show tables but jobs kept us from them in 2008.  It is now Fall of 2009 and we are pleased to say that we are returning to the show tables once again.  

 A lot of our rabbits are now homegrown, but our main foundation stock goes back to Stephanie Valentine.  She gave us the building blocks for success.  We also need to thank Bonnie Norton for selling us Sibling's Patches.  He became our top herd buck for a long while.  Special thanks to "J" Meagher on giving us advice during difficult times.  Without these people we wouldn't be where we are today.  Thank you!

Please be patient with us as we update our website.  We have made some friends in the past and can't wait to see you guys at the shows again!  Holland Lops rule! (especially in district 8).
